Standards for selecting wires and methods for protecting normal wires

1. Choosing copper core wires: For wires and wires, the first step is to ensure good conductivity. There are copper core wires and other wires on the market. Copper core wires are the most practical type of indoor decoration. However, copper core wires can be divided into several types, including large radius copper cores and multi wire copper cores.

2. Electric wires with strong load capacity: The electricity consumption in a household varies from high to low, with the TV, air conditioning, computer, lights, water dispenser, refrigerator, hair dryer, etc. on at its peak. If the load capacity of the wires is not strong, combined with the hot summer, it is easy for the wires to burn due to high temperature, leading to a fire.

3. Good waterproof performance. Some wires are prone to deformation and cracks on the surface. If there is a water leak somewhere, it can lead to electrical damage, short circuits, and even cause fires and casualties. So it is necessary to use wires with a hard outer skin and good waterproof performance.

4. The main line must have a thick core. The so-called main line refers to the two main wires between the main power supply and all electrical appliances. The main wire must be made of coarse copper core wire, as it carries the charge of various electrical appliances and requires high-performance coarse copper wire. Multiple core wires can be selected for bypass.



In daily production and household electrical wiring processes, damage such as short circuits, burning, and aging often occur. So, what measures can effectively prevent wire insulation damage and better protect the normal operation of wires and cables. The following are three emergency measures taken in daily situations of wire insulation damage.

1. The current passing through the wire should not exceed the safe current carrying capacity of the wire;

2. Do not let the wires get damp, heated, corroded, or bruised or crushed. Try not to let the wires pass through places with high temperature, high humidity, corrosive vapors and gases as much as possible. The wires should be properly protected when passing through places that are prone to damage;

3. Regularly inspect and repair the wiring, repair any defects immediately, and replace old and aging wires in a timely manner to ensure the safe operation of the wiring.
